Position Overview

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Full-Time Global 7500 Captain to join an esteemed operation based at the KVNY airport. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensuring the safe and secure operation of the Global 7500 aircraft.
• Conducting all flights with the utmost prudence and safety, adhering to, but not limited to, the following critical areas:
  • Thorough review of the aircraft's current maintenance status.
  • Execution of a proper pre-flight inspection in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Comprehensive assessment of weather conditions and airport facilities along the intended flight path, including designated alternate airports.
  • Verification that all flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Prioritizing and guaranteeing the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.
  • Meticulous and accurate completion of all required trip documentation according to established procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land PIC Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type rating on the Global 7500 or a comparable aircraft type is required.
• A current First Class Medical certificate is mandatory.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis is essential.
• Must successfully complete annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residence must be located within a two-hour driving radius of KVNY, or the candidate must express a willingness to relocate.
