Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Global 7500 Captain will be entrusted with the comprehensive and safe operation of the Global 7500 aircraft, ensuring all flights are conducted with the utmost prudence and adherence to regulatory and company standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Global 7500 aircraft during all phases of flight.
• Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual and reviewing the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Performing comprehensive checks of weather conditions, airport facilities, and potential alternate airports along the planned route.
• Operating all flights in full compliance with Solairus Aviation’s established policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Prioritizing and ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers, aircraft, and crew members.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork and documentation in accordance with current operational procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Flight Experience

• Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Current type rating on the Global 7500 or a comparable aircraft is required.
• Must possess a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
• Successful completion of annual ICAO International procedures training is mandatory.
• A military aviation background is preferred.
• Primary residence must be within a two-hour drive of a major commercial airport located in the Western portion of the USA, or the candidate must be willing to relocate to meet this requirement.

Compensation

Solairus Aviation is committed to offering competitive compensation packages. The salary range for Solairus crewmembers typically spans from $50,000 to $500,000, determined by a variety of factors including geographic area, experience level, specific aircraft type, job duties, required training, and the assigned account.
