Job Summary
Jet Select is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cabin Host/Hostess to join its managed fleet, specifically operating on a luxurious Global 7500 private jet. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring the utmost comfort and satisfaction of clients throughout their entire private aviation experience. The Cabin Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a unique and personalized "home away from home" atmosphere, understanding that every flight is special and meticulously planned. This position requires an unwavering commitment to detail, ensuring tailored and unparalleled service on both Part 91 and Part 135 flights.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and demonstrate proficiency with all emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers, life rafts, oxygen equipment, and automatic external defibrillators.
- Document all cabin maintenance issues accurately and promptly, reporting them to the Pilot in Command.
- Brief and assist passengers in the use of aircraft convenience systems, such as entertainment platforms and high-speed data systems.
- Provide assistance to passengers with their carry-on luggage and personal belongings.
- Assist passengers with seating arrangements, accommodating adults, children, passengers with disabilities, and those requiring restraint systems.
- Strategically plan, order, prepare, and impeccably serve all meals and beverages onboard, catering to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate the ability to safely handle and serve food containing common allergens, including fish, shellfish, wheat, soy, milk, tree nuts, and peanuts.
- Perform duties that may include operating in environments where animals or smoking are present.
- Develop standard stock inventories and source appropriate vendors for aircraft cabin, lavatory, and galley supplies.
- Ensure the aircraft cabin is meticulously prepared to specifications prior to each flight.
- Verify the aircraft cabin's cleanliness, and ensure water and lavatories are properly serviced before each departure.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-flight checks of all cabin safety equipment.
- Assume command and provide crucial assistance in the cabin during an aircraft emergency, medical emergency, or aircraft evacuation.
- Support the flight crew in all safety-related tasks and procedures.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required; a college degree is preferred.
- Possession of previous private or commercial aviation experience (First or Business Class cabin), or a minimum of three years of high-end service experience within other luxury sectors.
- Must be a US passport or Green Card holder with the legal right to live and work in the USA.
- Ability to obtain a second passport and crew visas as required for international travel.
- Possesses the legal right to travel without restriction to and from all countries served by Vista America.
- Holds a valid US Driver’s License.
- Demonstrates exceptional flexibility and a proven ability to identify creative solutions in dynamic environments.
- Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to perfection.
- Capable of calmly prioritizing tasks and maintaining composure in fast-paced, unpredictable situations.
- Passionate about delivering five-star customer service and exceeding guest expectations.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise impeccable discretion.
- The ability to communicate articulately in English, both verbally and in writing, is essential. Proficiency in other languages and international cultural experience are highly beneficial.
- Physical capability to successfully assist in the launch of a life raft weighing approximately 60 pounds.
- Physical capability to lift, open, and manipulate aircraft doors and window exits weighing up to 130 pounds.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, which include weekends, holidays, and days-off, reflecting the demands of private aviation.
- This position requires positioning in KFLL (Fort Lauderdale, FL).
