Position Summary

The Global 7500 Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, conducting approximately 100 to 150 international flight hours annually under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. This role demands strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company operations manuals, and standard operating procedures. Candidates must reside within a two-hour drivable commute of Los Angeles, California, or be willing to relocate to satisfy this essential requirement, as this is expressly not a commutable position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Global 7500 aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Execute pre-flight planning, in-flight management, and post-flight duties with precision and professionalism.
  • Maintain compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and internal policies.
  • Demonstrate unrestricted ability to travel internationally as required by flight schedules.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

Prospective candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this Captain position:

  • Total Time: A minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time.
  • PIC Time: At least 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
  • Turbine Time: A minimum of 1,000 hours of turbine aircraft time.
  • Certificates: An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is required.
  • Type Rating: Type Certification for the Global 7500 is highly preferred, with a minimum of 200 hours in type. However, exceptional PIC candidates with strong relevant experience will also be given consideration.
  • Residency: Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute of Van Nuys, CA (KVNY), or be able and willing to relocate to meet this requirement. This is not a commutable position.
  • Travel: Unrestricted ability to travel internationally.
  • Compliance: Ability to comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies & procedures.
  • Screening: Must successfully pass a pre-employment DOT/FAA drug screen and comprehensive background check, and be subject to random drug/alcohol tests as required. Positions in this classification are considered safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations.
  • Documentation: Full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including Medical, as well as completion of a disclosure form, will be required as part of the application process.

Compensation and Benefits

This opportunity features an upgraded and highly competitive compensation plan, including a matching 401(k) plan. The likely salary range for this position is $355,000 to $375,000 annually. Please note this range is not a guarantee of compensation; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and other pertinent requirements.
