Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and professional Gulfstream G500 Captain to join the flight operations team based at Laurence G. Hanscom Field (KBED). The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence, safety, and integrity while ensuring the highest standards of service for our clients in alignment with the company’s unique culture.

Essential Responsibilities

The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G500 aircraft, including:

• Conducting flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Reviewing aircraft maintenance status and performing thorough pre-flight inspections as per the Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Evaluating weather conditions, route facilities, and alternate airport options.
• Ensuring the safety and security of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
• Maintaining accurate and timely completion of all required trip paperwork.

Qualifications

• Total Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• MEL PIC Time: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid type rating on the Gulfstream G500 or comparable aircraft.
• Must hold a current First Class Medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Commitment to completing annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Residency within a two-hour drive of KBED, or willingness to relocate.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $50,000 to $500,000, determined by experience, geographic location, aircraft type, and specific job duties.
