Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Gulfstream G450 Captain will bear the paramount responsibility for the safe and prudent operation of the G450 aircraft. This comprehensive duty includes, but is not limited to, the following critical tasks:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the G450 aircraft.
• Conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner, strictly adhering to, but not limited to, the following:
  • Thoroughly reviewing the maintenance status and records of the aircraft.
  • Executing a proper pre-flight inspection in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Performing a complete and detailed check of weather conditions, airport facilities, and all aspects of the intended route, including primary and alternate airports.
  • Ensuring the flight is conducted in full compliance with Solairus Aviation's operational policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
  • Prioritizing and ensuring the safety and well-being of all passengers, the aircraft, and the entire crew.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork and documentation in accordance with current operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

Prospective candidates must demonstrate extensive flight experience, including:

• Total Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot in Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
• Turbine Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Possession of a G450 type rating or a type rating on a comparable aircraft is essential.
• A valid First Class Medical Certificate is strictly required.
• The ability and willingness to operate on an on-call basis is necessary for this dynamic role.
• Annual completion of ICAO International Procedures Training is mandatory.
• Candidates must either maintain a primary residence within a two-hour driving radius of Boca Raton, FL (KBCT) or be willing to relocate to the area.

Compensation

Solairus Aviation offers competitive compensation packages. The salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $500,000 annually. This range is determined by various factors, including geographic area, experience level, specific equipment type/aircraft, assigned job duties, required training, and the nuances of the assigned account.
