Job Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Gulfstream G700 Captain to join an operation at the KSJC airport. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G700 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, including but not limited to:
  • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
  • Performing pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Conducting thorough checks of weather and facilities along the planned route and at destination and alternate airports.
  • Ensuring flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
  • Accurately completing all trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Qualifications

• Total flight time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
• MEL PIC time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument flight time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type rated on Gulfstream G700 or comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical certificate required.
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Must maintain primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KSJC or be willing to relocate.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range is competitive and falls between $50,000 and $500,000, determined by factors including geographic area, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and assigned accounts.
