Job Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Global 8000 Captain to join an operation at the KBNA airport. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member dedicated to excellence in all aspects of their performance. This role involves contributing to a dedicated team that prioritizes the safe and expert transportation of clients, upholding Solairus Aviation's core values of safety, service, and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure the safe operation of the Global 8000 aircraft.
  • Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to, but not limited to, the following:
    • Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
    • Performing a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
    • Conducting a thorough check of weather and facilities along the planned route and at destination and alternate airports.
    • Ensuring flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
    • Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
    • Accurately completing all trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Qualifications

  • Total flight time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
  • MEL PIC time: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument flight time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

  • Type rating on Global aircraft or comparable aircraft.
  • Valid First Class Medical certificate.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Annual completion of ICAO International procedures training.
  • Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KBNA or willingness to relocate.

Additional Information

Solairus Aviation collects salary range information from multiple industry sources based on market conditions. Compensation for Solairus crewmembers ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, dependent upon geographic area, experience, equipment type/aircraft, job duties, training, and assigned account.
