National Airlines, headquartered in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a qualified Captain for its B777 fleet. As a provider of outsourced aircraft and services, National Airlines operates a diverse fleet including B747, B777, and A330 aircraft, catering to a wide range of domestic, regional, and international flight applications. Captains are entrusted with the ultimate responsibility for the safe and reliable operation of these aircraft.

Requirements

• Hold a current and unrestricted FAA ATP certificate with an airplane category multi-engine class rating and an English proficiency endorsement. An ATP issued with a CIRC APCH-VMC Only limitation is acceptable.
• Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Possess a minimum of 5000 hours total flight time.
• Accumulate a minimum of 1000 hours of pilot-in-command (PIC) time or second in command (SIC) time, in accordance with FAR 121.436. Such hours must be obtained under Title 14 of the United States Code of Federal Regulations.
• All National Airlines pilots are subject to FAA 121 mandatory retirement regulations.
• Possess a valid U.S. or Foreign passport with applicable visas for international travel. Foreign nationals must be able to obtain the necessary visas to operate National Airlines flights. The passport must be valid for at least one year from the application date.
• U.S.-based Pilots must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• The Captain (PIC) is responsible for the safety of all crew members, passengers, and/or cargo on board the aircraft once the doors are closed.
• Ensures compliance with mandatory checklists.
• Responsible for the overall safe conduct of the flight, exercising good judgment, from the moment the aircraft is ready for taxi until it comes to rest at the end of the flight and engines are shut down.
• Responsible for verifying that the entire crew is legally certificated, legally scheduled, and adequately rested.
• Ensures the use of Normal Procedures Checklists throughout the flight.
• Will not commence a flight without all necessary information to conduct it safely.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as per the National Airlines General Operations Manual.

Travel Requirements

• Flight Crews must meet all entry and exit requirements for the jurisdictions in which National Airlines operates. This may include a valid passport, visas, and required vaccinations to comply with local health mandates. Travel documents must remain current, including during training and operational duties.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Work Environment

• Exposure to aircraft noise and weather elements.
• Work typically occurs in airport terminals and on tarmac areas.
