Position Summary
National Airlines is seeking a professional and safety-focused Direct Entry Captain for our A330 fleet. Based in Orlando, Florida, the Captain holds overall responsibility for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of A330 aircraft across our domestic and international flight network. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the flight deck, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and upholding the company’s commitment to safety and specialized handling requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain ultimate responsibility for the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo from the moment the aircraft is ready for movement until it reaches its final resting place and engines are shut down.

Ensure mandatory checklists and Normal Procedures Checklists are strictly followed throughout the flight.

Confirm that the entire crew is legally certificated, scheduled, and adequately rested.

Verify that all appropriate information and documentation are obtained prior to departure to ensure the flight is conducted safely.

Execute additional duties as assigned in accordance with the National Airlines General Operations Manual.

Provide leadership and supervisory oversight to the flight crew.
Minimum Qualifications

Possess a current and unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with an airplane category multi-engine class rating and English proficiency endorsement. (ATP with CIRC APCH-VMC Only limitation is acceptable).

Hold a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.

Hold a current FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.

Minimum of 5,000 hours total flight time.

Minimum of 1,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) or Second-in-Command (SIC) time, per FAR 121.436 (hours must be obtained under Title 14 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations).

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Valid U.S. or Foreign passport with a minimum of one year of validity from the application date.

Ability to obtain and maintain necessary visas for international travel.

Subject to FAA 121 mandatory retirement regulations.
Travel and Physical Requirements
Flight crews must maintain compliance with all entry and exit requirements for the jurisdictions in which National Airlines operates, including valid travel documents, visas, and required vaccinations. The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Work Environment
The position involves working in airport terminals, on the tarmac, and within the aircraft environment, including exposure to aircraft noise and various weather elements.
