Airline Transport Pilot Certificate

Responsibilities

Command all assigned flights, ensuring safety and compliance

Maintain a complete working knowledge of aircraft systems

Manage flight plans and adapt to changing conditions

Perform functions of the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as applicable

Conduct passenger safety briefings or assign duty to the second in command

Support open communication on safety issues and report hazards

Record and report aircraft discrepancies

Manage trip documentation and complete accurate trip paperwork
