Position Summary:

Solairus Aviation is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Full-Time Citation Excel XLS+ Captain to join a dedicated flight operation based at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE). This role requires a standout colleague who is committed to achieving excellence in every aspect of their performance while contributing to a hardworking team focused on meeting client travel needs safely and expertly.

Key Responsibilities:

The Citation Excel XLS+ Captain is entrusted with the paramount responsibility for the safe operation of the aircraft. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the safe and prudent conduct of all flights in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Conducting thorough reviews of the aircraft's maintenance status before each flight.
• Performing comprehensive pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Evaluating weather conditions and facility status along the route of flight, including necessary alternate airports.
• Maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew throughout the flight.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork and documentation according to current procedures.

Required Flight Experience:

Candidates must meet the following minimum flight time requirements:

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot in Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
• Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications:

• Hold a current type rating on the Citation Excel XLS+ or a comparable aircraft type.
• Possess a current First Class Medical Certificate.
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis as required by operational needs.
• Commitment to successfully completing annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Primary residence must be located within a two-hour driving distance of KFXE, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.
