Position Summary

Ventura Air Services is actively seeking experienced and safety-conscious pilots for its Citation CE-560XL fleet. This home-based position requires exceptional professionalism, superior customer service skills, and a strong work ethic. Pilots will operate both domestic and international flights, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence and reliability.

Compensation & Benefits

Ventura Air Services offers a comprehensive and competitive compensation package designed to attract and retain top talent:

  • Base Salary: $130,000 annually.
  • Home-Based Operation: Pilots can reside anywhere within a two-hour commute to an airport in the lower 48 United States.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Attractive schedule options include 8 days on/6 days off and 15 days on/13 days off. Travel days are fully integrated into rotations.
  • Structured Pay Scale: A clear pay scale ensures predictable annual raises for each year of service.
  • Expense Management: Company credit cards are provided for hotels, rental cars, and other duty-related expenses. Per diem rates are $65 for domestic travel and $95 for international travel.
  • Career Advancement: Significant opportunities for professional growth and leadership roles, including company instructor, standards/IOE captain, and Check Airman positions. Additional responsibilities are compensated accordingly.
  • Exceptional Overtime & Premium Pay: Generous compensation for working extra days outside of scheduled rotations, as well as premium pay for holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries when on duty.

Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate a solid record of safety, stability, and experience in both domestic and international aviation operations. Successful applicants will be career-driven, dependable, and possess superior customer service and communication skills, coupled with a strong employment background and work ethic.

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • CE-560XL Type Rating.
  • Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • Minimum 250 hours in type (CE-560XL).
  • Ability to travel internationally without restriction.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Initial or recurrent training in type (CE-560XL) within the previous 36 months.
  • 500 hours in type (CE-560XL).
  • Prior international flight experience.
  • Experience flying other Citation variants.
  • Strong background in Part 135 operations.
  • A long-term career focus with a desire for continuous upgrade and growth within the company.
