Aviation Pilot - Job Description
The Aviation Pilot is responsible for safely and efficiently operating aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 135, company policies, and client requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional piloting skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to safety. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude toward the organization's mission, its clients, and the company.
Required Qualifications:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
- Meets FAA and CAMTS minimums for position.
- Ability to maintain currency in the assigned aircraft per FAR Part 135.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Positive support toward the mission, the client, and the Company.
- Valid U.S./state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Valid U.S. Passport.
- Airline Transport Pilot or Commercial Certificate with Instrument Rating (Multiengine Land).
- Current First or Second-Class medical certificate.
- Minimum 4,000 hours Total Flight Time.
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (airplane).
- Minimum 200 hours multiengine PIC.
- Minimum 100 hours multiengine PIC in aircraft greater than 12,500 lbs.
- Minimum 200 hours low-level (typical terrain).
- Minimum 100 hours PIC in the preceding 12 months.
- Heavy jet type rating.
- Previous or current USFS AKP or AKI rating.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Initial Attack rating.
- DC-9 type rating.
