Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Falcon 900LX Captain to join a dedicated operation based at Houston Hobby Airport (KHOU). This is a unique opportunity where the successful candidate will be directly employed by the client while seamlessly integrating into and operating within the established systems and rigorous standards of Solairus Aviation. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensures the safe and efficient operation of the Falcon 900LX aircraft.
• Conducts all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering strictly to established procedures and regulations.
• Reviews the aircraft's maintenance status thoroughly prior to each flight.
• Performs comprehensive pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducts a complete analysis of weather conditions, airport facilities, and suitable alternate airports along the planned route.
• Ensures all flights are conducted in full compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Maintains paramount responsibility for the safety and security of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
• Completes all trip documentation accurately and efficiently according to current procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
• Minimum Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Minimum Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Minimum Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Minimum Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
• Minimum Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications:

• Holds a type rating on the Falcon LX or a comparable aircraft type.
• Possesses a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on an on-call schedule, adapting to dynamic travel requirements.
• Must be able to successfully complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Maintains a primary residence within the state of Texas or is willing to relocate.
