Challenger 604 Flight Attendant
Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Full-Time Flight Attendant to be based in San Antonio, TX (KSAT). This individual will be a crucial member of the team, ensuring the safety, comfort, and exceptional service of passengers aboard a Challenger 604 aircraft. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, a strong team-oriented approach, and a willingness to undertake additional responsibilities to consistently deliver superior passenger experiences. A passion for culinary arts is essential, with advanced culinary training highly desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a superior level of service to clients, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort throughout all flights.
- Direct and assist passengers during emergency situations.
- Administer basic first aid, including CPR and AED, and provide first aid to passengers in distress.
- Ensure cabin safety and compliance with federal regulations before takeoff and landing.
- Offer reassurance and support to passengers during turbulence or other unsettling situations.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-flight briefings.
- Verify that all necessary supplies, including food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, and emergency equipment, are adequately stocked for each flight.
- Procure items specifically requested by passengers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg, ensuring the aircraft is always ready for operation.
- Conduct regular cabin checks to maintain passenger comfort and cleanliness.
- Complete all required pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Operate audio and video entertainment systems effectively.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and current First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant-specific training from recognized institutions like FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar is preferred; annual recurrent training is mandatory. Candidates without formal training may be considered based on experience and other qualifications, with the requirement to complete initial training before flight assignment. Preference will be given to those who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs or equivalent training within the last 12 months.
- Technologically proficient and comfortable using various electronic devices.
- Demonstrated flexibility, patience, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong culinary skills and culinary-specific training.
- Ability to manage a fluid schedule that may include late-night flights.
- Availability to fly on short notice, with a 2-3 hour response time while on standby.
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, taking into account health considerations and visa status.
- Capacity to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.
- Proficiency in the operation of all features of Cabin Management Systems.
- Competence in the operation of all galley equipment.
- Ability to operate all cabin features including berthing seats and configuring divans into beds.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- College degree preferred.
- Fluency in one or more foreign languages is an advantage.
- Experience working with small children is beneficial.
Specific Requirements:
- Vision correctable to 20/20 or better with corrective lenses; uncorrected vision no worse than 20/20.
- Must possess clear and effective verbal communication skills. Adequate hearing ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone.
- Ability to stand unassisted for extended periods up to 14 hours with limited opportunities to sit. Capable of working in varied climate conditions.
- Ability to kneel, climb, bend, and stoop to manage supplies and luggage. Ability to maneuver in tight aircraft spaces.
- Possess the necessary strength and dexterity to operate cabin doors, weighing up to 130 pounds. Capable of performing tasks such as writing, typing, operating a computer and phone, and preparing/serving food and beverages. Ability to lift approximately 25-30 pounds repeatedly from floor to waist height.
Compensation:
Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $500,000, commensurate with experience, geographic location, type of aircraft, job duties, training, and assigned accounts.
