The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Challenger 604 aircraft, conducting flights in a prudent manner, adhering to all applicable regulations and procedures. This includes reviewing aircraft maintenance status, conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual, and ensuring a complete assessment of weather and facilities along the route. The Captain must guarantee the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft and accurately complete all trip paperwork.
Minimum qualifications include 3000 hours total flight time, 1500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC), 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL), 500 hours MEL PIC, 500 hours in Turbo Jet aircraft, and 250 hours of instrument time. The candidate must hold a type rating on the Challenger 604 or comparable aircraft, a first-class medical certificate, and must be available for on-call duty. The Captain must complete ICAO International procedures training annually and must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour driving distance from KTEB or be willing to relocate.
Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary, with compensation ranging from $50,000 to $500,000, commensurate with experience, geographic location, equipment type, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
