Elevate Jet is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot-in-Command. Working collaboratively with the Second-in-Command (SIC), the Pilot-in-Command is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft in strict accordance with FAA regulations and Elevate Jet’s General Operations Manual. The ideal candidate operates as a strong team member in a crew environment, demonstrates a deep commitment to safety, possesses exceptional leadership skills, and embodies a dedication to superior customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performing safe and timely flights for private VIP Part 135 and Part 91 operations.
- Ensuring all aspects of aircraft readiness for upcoming trips.
- Maintaining consistent and clear communications with operations.
- Accurately maintaining financial and operational records required for each flight.
- Fostering an environment that promotes teamwork and encourages crew members to strive for excellence.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Holds a Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Possesses a Challenger 604/605/650 Type Rating (REQUIRED).
- Minimum of 3500 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum of 2000 hours of multi-engine fixed-wing time.
- Minimum of 250 hours of instrument time.
- Preference for candidates with 250 hours time in type (Challenger 604/605/650).
- Ability to hold and maintain a valid FAA First-class medical certificate.
- Clean FAA record with no violations, accidents, or incidents.
- Possesses a valid Passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted commercial travel to/from Canada.
- Compliant with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.10 requirements for pilots engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.
Education & Experience:
- College degree preferred.
- Previous FAR 135/91 experience preferred.
Schedule & Travel:
- Schedule rotation varies by aircraft assignment.
- Travel required 100% of the time.
Miscellaneous:
- FLSA Status: Full-time exempt position.
- Lifting requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Proof of certain vaccinations may be required.
