Challenger 604 Pilot in Command (PIC)
Waltzing Matilda Aviation (WMA), a Part 135 private jet charter operator, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced full-time Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Challenger 604 aircraft. This position is based at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, Massachusetts, and reports directly to the Chief Pilot. The PIC will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, as well as other duties as assigned.
General Requirements:
- CL-604 Type Rating
- Minimum age of 23 years
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot Multi-Engine Land Rating (ATP)
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit
- Successful completion of a 10-year background check and FAA Drug and Alcohol Program testing
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and travel internationally without restriction
- Part 135 operational experience
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
Flight Time Requirements:
- Minimum of 2500 hours of total documented flight time
- Minimum of 500 hours of turbine flight time
- Minimum of 100 hours of turbine Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time
- Current instrument proficiency check, line check, and route check
When evaluating applicants, consideration will be given to the quality, quantity, recency, and verifiability of training; the complexity of aircraft flown; types of flight operations; and hours flown as PIC in turbine-powered aircraft.
