This full-time position, based in Pontiac, Michigan, involves operating a Challenger 604 within a three-pilot flight department, with approximately 350 annual flight hours. The ideal candidate will be an engaging, cooperative, and dynamic team member dedicated to supporting the aircraft owner's needs. A strong focus on safety, coupled with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach, is essential for success.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict adherence to all Priester Aviation policies and procedures.
  • Maintain full compliance with applicable regulations and operating manuals.
  • Provide professional, courteous, and solutions-oriented service to the owner/client, and vendor/support personnel.
  • Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS), exhibiting familiarity with its processes and initiatives.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance efficiency within flight operations and the flight department.
  • Proactively communicate suggestions for system and process improvements to Priester Aviation leadership that may benefit the aircraft owner and the company.
  • Ensure accurate communication of flight schedules and updates with Flight Services.
  • Identify and report operational or flight department issues to the Team Leader.
  • Promote the integrity, reputation, and standing of Priester Aviation amongst industry stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5,000 total flight hours.
  • 2,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
  • 2,500 hours multi-engine land, with 1,500 hours as multi-engine PIC.
  • 2,000 hours in turbine aircraft and 500 hours instrument time.
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with multi-engine land rating.
  • Current First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, flight planning, and safety management systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the capacity for sound decision-making under pressure.
  • Proficiency in flight planning and aviation management software.
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of the business.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
  • Previous experience in Part 135 operations.

This is an exempt position that requires flexibility to meet the demands of business.

Salary range: $200,000.00 - $210,000.00.
