Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• The Challenger 605 Captain will be responsible for the safe and proficient operation of the Challenger 605 aircraft.
• Flights will be conducted in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies, including but not limited to:
  • Thorough review of the aircraft's maintenance status prior to flight.
  • Execution of a comprehensive pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Detailed assessment of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route and at destination and alternate airports.
  • Ensuring all flight operations comply with the policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Upholding the highest standards of safety for all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all required trip documentation according to established procedures.

Qualifications

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land PIC Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type rating on the Challenger 605 or a comparable aircraft type rating is required.
• A current First Class Medical certificate is mandatory.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis is essential.
• Successful completion of annual ICAO International procedures training is required.
• Candidates must maintain a primary residence within a 2-hour driving radius of KDAL airport or demonstrate a willingness to relocate.
