Captain, Challenger 605 - Part 91 Operations

Location: Oxford, CT (KOXC)

Clay Lacy Aviation invites exceptional candidates to apply for the prestigious role of Captain, operating a Bombardier Challenger 605 aircraft under Part 91 regulations. Clay Lacy Aviation maintains a rigorous evaluation process to ensure its pilots meet the highest industry standards, excelling in procedural abilities and situational awareness.

The successful candidate will join the team on a full-time basis, dedicated to providing safe and professional flight operations for this based aircraft. This position is not open to contract pilots.

Position Details

  • Position: Captain
  • Aircraft: Challenger 605
  • Operation: Part 91; estimated approximately 250 flight hours annually.
  • Location: Oxford, CT (KOXC)
  • Position Type: Full-time only; no contract
  • Compensation Range: $260,000.00 – $285,000.00 annually
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package includes fully paid medical/healthcare premium.

Note: Candidates must hold a required type rating and reside within a two-hour drivable commuting distance to KOXC. This is not a commutable position.

Required Education and Experience

Highly qualified applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Minimum 3,500 hours of total flight time.
  • Minimum 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
  • Minimum 1,000 hours of Turbine time.
  • Possession of a current, FAA-issued Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is mandatory.
  • Possession of a current FAA First Class Medical certificate is mandatory.
  • Bombardier CL-604 Type Certification is required, with a minimum of 200 hours in type.
  • Must be capable of complying with all Federal Aviation regulations, the company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures.
  • Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute to KOXC or be willing to relocate.
  • Compliance with a pre-employment drug screening and background check is required.

Full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including the Medical certificate, along with the completion of a disclosure form, will be required as part of the formal application process.
