Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review aircraft maintenance status to ensure continuous airworthiness.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-flight inspections in strict adherence to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Meticulously assess weather conditions and facility capabilities for the intended route, including alternate airports.
- Ensure all flight operations comply with Silver Air policies, procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Uphold the utmost safety standards for all passengers, aircraft, and crew members.
- Accurately complete all required trip documentation in accordance with established procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 3,500 total flight hours, with at least 3,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Minimum 3,000 multi-engine flight hours, with at least 2,000 hours as PIC.
- Minimum 1,750 turbine flight hours preferred.
- Minimum 200 flight hours in the aircraft type, with at least 100 hours as PIC.
- Type rating on the CL-605 or a comparable aircraft.
- Possession of a valid First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- Previous Part 135 experience is preferred but not required.
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.1.0 pertaining to multi-pilot international commercial air transport operations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted commercial travel to and from Canada.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and clients.
- High level of organizational skill, with the ability to manage changing environments and shifting priorities effectively.
- Excellent time management capabilities, including the ability to work on-call, under pressure, and multitask efficiently within a 24/7 operational framework, requiring flexibility in schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to function as a valued team member, contributing positively to the business and client experience.
