Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensures the safe and secure operation of the Challenger 3500 aircraft.
- Conducts all flights with the utmost prudence and safety, adhering to, but not limited to, the following procedures:
- Thorough review of the aircraft's current maintenance status.
- Execution of a comprehensive pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Detailed assessment of weather conditions and facilities along the intended flight path, including alternate airports.
- Verification that all flights are conducted in strict compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Prioritizes and ensures the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.
- Accurate and timely completion of all required trip documentation according to established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
- Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
- Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours
Specific Qualifications and Certifications
- Type rating on the Challenger 3500 or a comparable aircraft.
- Possession of a current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Availability to work on an on-call basis.
- Successful annual completion of ICAO International Procedures training.
- Primary residence located within a two-hour driving distance of KOXC, or a willingness to relocate.
Compensation Information
Solairus Aviation bases compensation ranges on current market conditions and data from multiple industry sources. Crewmember earnings can range from $50,000 to $500,000, influenced by factors such as geographic location, individual experience, aircraft type, specific job duties, ongoing training, and assigned client accounts.
