Position Summary
Our esteemed corporate flight department is expanding and seeks highly skilled and dedicated Senior Captains. We are looking for solution-driven aviation professionals who are passionate about brand representation and committed to providing world-class, safe, and secure transportation services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate complete ownership of the flight process, from meticulous pre-flight planning and expert navigation to precise piloting and thorough post-flight procedures, ensuring the highest standards of safety and passenger care.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company aircraft with the utmost safety and efficiency, in strict adherence to company policies, FAA regulations, ICAO guidelines, and manufacturer recommendations.
- Proactively provide creative solutions and options to meet evolving flight schedules and business requirements, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
- Ensure timely and efficient flight operations through swift, adaptable decision-making in a dynamic aviation environment.
- Maintain the aircraft in impeccable condition, demonstrating pride of ownership and delivering best-in-class service to all passengers.
- Actively participate in the company's Safety Management System (SMS) by identifying, reporting, and mitigating potential safety issues.
- Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with passengers and team members to enhance the overall travel experience.
- Lead by example, upholding the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct in all professional duties.
- Exhibit a high level of self-discipline and drive to exceed both short-term and long-term performance expectations.
- Maintain pilot proficiency through ongoing professional development, including annual simulator training, ground school, and semi-annual checks.
- Communicate effectively through clear and concise written reports and professional correspondence with all internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate – Multi-Engine.
- Minimum 3,000 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Minimum 500 hours of multi-engine time.
- Previous experience with turbojet aircraft.
- Current First-Class Medical Certificate and the ability to maintain it.
- Impeccable safety record with no FAA violations, accidents, or incidents.
- Must successfully pass a TSA/HS background check and release of FAA Airman Certification Record.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FAR Parts 91 and 135 operations.
- Ability to travel extensively (60-80%).
- Exceptional reliability, punctuality, and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to relocate or reside within a two-hour commute of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Part 135 operational experience.
- International flight experience, particularly to Europe, South America, and Asia.
- Challenger 350/3500 Type Rating.
Compensation and Benefits
The hiring range for the Senior Captain role is $200,000 - $250,000 annually. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. This position offers a stable, predictable rolling schedule of 20 days on and 10 days off.
Base pay is one component of a comprehensive Total Rewards package. Other rewards may include a tenure-based bonus plan and program-specific awards.
