Position Summary

The Senior Captain will be a pivotal member of the Jack Link's aviation team, actively contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and demonstrating exemplary performance across all flight operations. This role demands a solution-driven professional with a passion for representing the brand and upholding the highest standards of safety and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe and Efficient Flight Operations: Operate company aircraft in strict adherence to company policies, FAA regulations, ICAO guidelines, and manufacturer recommendations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional Passenger Experience: Proactively anticipate and exceed passenger expectations, offering creative solutions and flexible options as flight schedules and business requirements evolve. Provide best-in-class service to all passengers.
  • Situational Adaptability: Embody the core competency of “Situational Adaptability” by ensuring timely and efficient flight operations, coupled with swift and decisive decision-making in dynamic environments.
  • Aircraft Stewardship: Maintain the aircraft in an immaculate and flight-ready condition, demonstrating pride in the role and ensuring optimal operational readiness.
  • Proactive Safety Management: Actively engage with the Safety Management System (SMS) by diligently identifying, reporting, and contributing to the mitigation of potential safety issues. Provide valuable input on safety topics and consistently apply checklists to ensure sound decision-making.
  • Professional Relationship Building: Foster strong, positive relationships with passengers and collaborate seamlessly with the entire aviation team to elevate the overall passenger experience.
  • Integrity and Character: Serve as a role model, consistently demonstrating honesty, integrity, and the highest ethical standards in all professional conduct.
  • Self-Driven Excellence: Exhibit superior self-discipline and an unwavering drive to surpass both short-term and long-term performance objectives.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Maintain peak pilot proficiency through ongoing training, including annual simulator sessions (or equivalent), comprehensive ground training programs, and semi-annual checks to ensure currency and mastery of skills.
  • Clear and Effective Communication: Compose routine reports, correspond professionally, and communicate confidently and articulately with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) – Multi-Engine.
  • Minimum 3,000 total flight hours.
  • Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • Minimum 500 hours multi-engine time.
  • Experience in turbojet aircraft.
  • Current First-Class Medical Certificate, with the demonstrated ability to maintain it.
  • Impeccable safety record, free of FAA violations, accidents, or incidents.
  • Successful completion of TSA/HS background checks and release of FAA Airman Certification Record.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FAR Parts 91 and 135 Operations.
  • Ability to travel 60-80% of the time.
  • Exemplary professional appearance and behavior.
  • Exceptional reliability and punctuality.
  • Willingness to relocate or reside between Minneapolis, MN, and Hayward, WI, or within a two-hour drive of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Part 135 operational experience.
  • International flight experience, particularly in Europe, South America, and Asia.
  • Challenger 350/3500 type rating.
