Job Overview

Solairus Aviation is actively recruiting a highly qualified, full-time Captain to pilot a newly delivered Global 6500 aircraft. This position is based at the KFRG airport and will operate within a dedicated three-pilot team. The ideal candidate is a collaborative professional committed to achieving excellence in all aspects of their performance. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensures the safe and efficient operation of the Global 6500 aircraft.
  • Conducts all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Thoroughly reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status prior to flight.
    • Performing comprehensive pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
    • Conducting detailed assessments of weather conditions and facility information for the planned route and designated airports, including alternates.
    • Ensuring flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations.
    • Prioritizing and ensuring the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
    • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

  • Total flight time: 3,000 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1,500 hours
  • MEL PIC time: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument flight time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

  • Type rating for the Global 6500 or a comparable aircraft is required.
  • A valid First Class Medical certificate is mandatory.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis is essential.
  • Successful completion of annual ICAO International Procedures training is required.
  • The candidate must maintain primary residence within a two-hour driving distance of KFRG or demonstrate a willingness to relocate.
