Captain - Gulfstream G500/G600 Teterboro, NJ, US, 07608 Onsite Flight Services Technicians / Crew Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced Captain to command Gulfstream G500/G600 aircraft in an elite private aviation environment. This role requires the highest standards of safety, leadership, and professionalism in operating state-of-the-art aircraft and ensuring an exceptional experience for discerning clientele. The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of flights, navigating domestic and global routes, and adapting to changing conditions. This is a premier opportunity for an aviator who thrives under pressure and values operational excellence. Lead all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems to ensure precise operation, manage flight plans, and adapt to evolving conditions. Serve as the In-flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as per applicable security programs. Conduct passenger safety briefings or delegate this duty to the First Officer. Actively support open communication regarding safety issues, report hazards, and maintain a secure environment. Record and report all aircraft discrepancies accurately. Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork according to company procedures. Represent Jet Aviation with professionalism and dedication, embodying the company's mission of delivering exceptional service. Airline Transport Pilot Certificate required. FAA First Class Medical required. 3,500 hours total fixed-wing flight time. 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command. 1,500 hours Multi-Engine flight time. 500 hours Turbo-Jet flight time. 500 hours Turbine flight time. 100 hours Night flight time. 75 hours Simulated Instrument flight time. High school diploma required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles. Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions. Appropriate Aircraft type rating and currency. College degree preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for collaboration. Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Deep understanding of the aviation industry with a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor. Quality-driven mindset and dedication to representing Jet Aviation as a trusted industry leader. Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving. Ability to handle all responsibilities with integrity and discretion. Regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting. Occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. Sharp vision across various ranges and depths. Operate in various environments, from maintenance areas to customer spaces. Experience the dynamic atmosphere of aircraft arrivals and departures. Occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes. Adapt to changing weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes in hangar settings. The anticipated salary range for this position is $X to $X. This range is not a guaranteed offer and the final salary will be determined based on candidate experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
