Solairus Aviation, a leading private aviation services company, seeks an experienced and highly motivated Challenger 300 Captain to join a dedicated three-pilot operation based at KPWK (Chicago Executive Airport).

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring an exceptional pilot committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, service, and professionalism. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional travel experiences for Solairus Aviation's esteemed clientele.

Responsibilities

The Challenger 300 Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, including:

• Ensuring the airworthiness of the aircraft through meticulous pre-flight inspections and adherence to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducting thorough flight planning, including meticulous weather analysis, route evaluation, and selection of suitable alternate airports.
• Operating the aircraft in strict compliance with Solairus Aviation's safety protocols, Federal Aviation Regulations, and industry best practices.
• Prioritizing the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew throughout each flight.
• Maintaining accurate and timely completion of all required flight documentation.
• Collaborating effectively with fellow crew members and fostering a positive and professional cockpit environment.

Qualifications

• ATP certificate
• Total flight time: 3,000 hours minimum
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1,500 hours minimum
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1,500 hours minimum
• MEL PIC time: 500 hours minimum
• Turbojet time: 500 hours minimum
• Instrument time: 250 hours minimum
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Challenger 300 type rating (or comparable aircraft)
• ICAO International procedures training (annual completion required)
• Ability to work on an on-call basis
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KPWK or willingness to relocate
