Key Responsibilities

The Global Express XRS Captain will be entrusted with the safe, prudent, and efficient operation of the Global Express XRS aircraft, encompassing but not limited to, the following essential duties:

• Ensuring the paramount safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew throughout every flight.
• Conducting all flights in strict adherence to the policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Performing comprehensive pre-flight duties, including:
  • Thoroughly reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status.
  • Conducting a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Executing a complete check of weather conditions and available facilities along the planned route, including primary and alternate airports.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork and documentation in line with current operational procedures.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following minimum flight experience requirements:

• Total Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Requirements and Certifications

In addition to flight experience, the ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications:

• A current and valid type rating on a BBD700 or a comparable aircraft.
• A current First Class Medical Certificate.
• The ability to work on an on-call basis, demonstrating exceptional flexibility and responsiveness to dynamic operational schedules.
• Commitment to completing annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive from KDAL or willingness to relocate to the Dallas, Texas area.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus Aviation offers a highly competitive salary range for its crewmembers, from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. Compensation is determined based on factors such as geographic area, experience level, equipment type/aircraft, specific job duties, training requirements, and the assigned account.
