Candidates are required to possess a valid Commercial Pilot License with a minimum of 2000 total flight hours. A crucial requirement for this role is demonstrated experience operating in the unique Alaskan environment, with at least 500 flight hours or one full season of combined flying and living experience within the state. Please note that this is a non-smoking position.
The ideal candidate will hold an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and maintain a current First-Class Medical Certificate. Preference will be given to applicants with an extensive flight history of 3000 or more total time hours.
Extensive operational experience in Alaska, defined as 1000 flight hours or two complete seasons, is highly desirable. Additionally, flight experience in aircraft such as the Cessna 208 (C208), CASA C-212 Aviocar, Cessna 408 SkyCourier (C408), Beechcraft 1900 (B190), or Beechcraft King Air 200 (BE20) will be considered a significant asset.
