Airline Transport Pilot (Captain)
The organization seeks a highly experienced and safety-oriented professional to serve as an Airline Transport Pilot. The Captain is entrusted with the ultimate authority for the safe operation of the aircraft and must demonstrate superior leadership, decisiveness, and adherence to stringent regulatory standards during all flight phases.
Key Responsibilities of the Pilot-in-Command
- The successful candidate will safely and proficiently operate high-performance aircraft.
- Executes critical decision-making regarding comprehensive flight planning, determining optimal departure times and routes.
- Exercises authoritative judgment to delay or cancel flights based on meteorological conditions, operational requirements, or any factor deemed detrimental to safety.
- Is responsible for ensuring that all flight operations adhere strictly to federal aviation regulations (FARs), local air traffic control mandates, and established company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.
Minimum Professional Qualifications
Prospective candidates must meet or exceed the following mandatory flight experience and certification requirements:
- Possession of a current FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate, complimented by the appropriate aircraft Type Rating.
- Ability to obtain and consistently maintain a valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum total flight time of 4,000 hours (Total Fixed Wing).
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of Multi-Engine Land flight experience.
- A minimum of 2,000 hours accrued as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
