Jet Linx | Captain

Jet Linx is seeking a Pilot in Command (PIC) for full-time operations in Indianapolis, IN. This position focuses on Light jet aircraft, specifically the Nextant 400XTi, and involves Part 91 and 135 flight operations. Candidates are expected to reside within a two-hour call-out time of their assigned base or be willing to relocate.

About the Role

The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures. This role requires comprehensive flight management and adherence to all operational guidelines.

Requirements

• Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
• Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
• Total Time in Type (Nextant 400XTi): 250 hours
• Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
• Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
• Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
• Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
• Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
• Current 1st Class Medical Certificate
• ATP Certificate (or ability to obtain)
• FCC Restricted Radio License
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Current passport
• Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries
• Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review
• Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Essential Functions

• Manage duty, flight, and rest times according to company and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Maintain constant communication with the company regarding standby duty, trip notifications, position updates, and flight reports.
• Manage and maintain electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
• Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
• Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making skills.
• Uphold and embody Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Initial or Recurrent 142 training in the Nextant 400XTi within the last 24 months is preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing as required. This includes testing for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines for all safety-sensitive functions.
• Work environment primarily includes aircraft and aircraft terminals.
