Executive Jet Management (EJM), a highly respected Berkshire Hathaway company, is actively seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the demanding position of Global 6000 Pilot/Captain. This coveted role is based at Oxford, CT (KOXC) and involves complex domestic and international flight segments conducted under FAR Part 91 and Part 135 regulations.
Operational Overview
The successful candidate will integrate into a highly dedicated, seven-pilot flight department operating the Bombardier Global 6000. The operational efficiency and high standards of service for this account are further ensured by the support of two dedicated Cabin Attendants and two dedicated Maintenance Technicians.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
EJM requires candidates who possess specialized experience necessary for global executive jet operations. Prospective pilots must:
- Possess extensive and demonstrable international flight experience.
- Be proficient in utilizing Global Vision flight deck technology.
- Hold a current and valid type rating in the BD700 (Global 6000).
- Due to critical operational requirements, maintain permanent residency within a two-hour driving distance of the Oxford, CT (KOXC) base.
- Be capable of performing all essential functions related to the position of Pilot in Command.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements (KSAOs)
Required Certifications and Ratings
- Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FAA Type Rating appropriate for the applicable fleet (BD700 highly preferred).
