Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Gulfstream G550 Captain to join its dynamic team, operating out of KTEB airport. The Captain is expected to be a collaborative colleague, striving for excellence in all aspects of performance. The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft. This includes conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation policies and procedures. Specific responsibilities include: reviewing aircraft maintenance status; conducting thorough pre-flight inspections as per the Aircraft Flight Manual; comprehensive checks of weather and facilities along the planned route and at designated airports, including alternates; ensuring the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew; and accurate completion of all trip paperwork in accordance with established procedures.
Qualified candidates must possess the following: a minimum of 3000 hours total flight time; 1500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time; 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time; 500 hours MEL PIC time; 500 hours in Turbo Jet aircraft; and 250 hours of instrument time.
Specific qualifications and certifications include a Gulfstream G550 type rating (or comparable aircraft type rating), a valid First Class Medical Certificate, the ability to work on an on-call basis, and the ability to complete ICAO International procedures training annually. Preference will be given to candidates whose primary residence is within a 2-hour drive of KTEB, or who are willing to relocate.
Solairus Aviation offers competitive compensation, with salaries ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 based on factors such as geographic area, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and assigned account.
