Overview

Solairus Aviation is actively recruiting a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Falcon 900EX Captain to join a premier operation based at KPWK airport in Wheeling, Illinois. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensures the safe and proficient operation of the Falcon 900EX aircraft.
  • Conducts all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to but not limited to the following protocols:
    • Thorough review of the aircraft's current maintenance status.
    • Execution of a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
    • Comprehensive assessment of weather conditions and facility availability along the planned flight route and at destination and alternate airports.
  • Guarantees that all flights are conducted in strict accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Prioritizes and ensures the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.
  • Completes all trip-related paperwork accurately and in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

  • Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
  • MEL PIC Time: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

  • Must possess a Type Rating on the Falcon 900EX or a comparable aircraft.
  • Must hold a current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis is required.
  • Must successfully complete annual ICAO International Procedures training.
  • Primary residence must be located within a two-hour drive of KPWK, or a willingness to relocate is required.

Compensation Information

Solairus Aviation gathers comprehensive salary range data based on current market conditions from various industry sources. For this position, Solairus crewmembers are compensated within the range of $200,000 to $230,000 annually. This compensation is determined by factors including geographic location, candidate experience, aircraft equipment type, specific job duties, training qualifications, and the assigned client account.
