Position Overview
Skyborne is seeking a qualified Instructor to deliver professional pilot training. The successful candidate will facilitate Ground Theory and Simulator Practical Instruction for MCC, APS MCC, and MCCI (A) courses, while contributing to the ongoing development of training materials and ensuring the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver Ground Theory instruction for MCC, APS MCC, and MCCI (A) courses.

Provide Simulator Practical Instruction for MCC, APS MCC, and MCCI (A) courses.

Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, and courseware in accordance with regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Assess trainee performance via written examinations, simulator evaluations, and practical exercises, providing actionable feedback.

Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures, security protocols, and operational standards.

Foster a positive learning environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and excellence.

Perform additional duties as directed by management.
Candidate Requirements

Current UK Part-FCL MCCI(A) qualification; EASA Part-FCL MCCI(A) is desirable.

Extensive professional pilot training instruction experience.

Proven experience as an SFI/TRI and SFE/TRE.

Proficiency in operating FNPT II MCC FSTDs or FTDs.

Comprehensive knowledge of UK CAA and EASA regulations regarding APS MCC training.

Current or previously held UK Part-FCL Flying Instructor Rating.

Current or previously held UK Part-FCL ATPL or CPL.

Minimum of 1,500 hours of multi-crew flight time.

Demonstrated instructional ability, integrity, and a high level of professionalism.

Flexibility to accommodate evolving schedules and operational training demands.
Compensation and Benefits

Competitive day rate of £400, with additional supplements for shifts concluding after 23:00.
