Job Summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Nocturnist to join the Department of Medicine, Hospital Medicine division. In this role, the incumbent will collaborate with hospitalist physician faculty to provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care. Patient populations include observation, floor, and step-down level patients, as well as oncology patients. The position involves a commitment to the academic mission, including teaching students and Advanced Practice Fellows, alongside administrative responsibilities such as committee work, pathway development, and contributions to hospital systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient clinical care across various hospital units.
  • Participate in the educational mission by teaching students and Advanced Practice Fellows.
  • Engage in administrative obligations, including committee work and systemic improvements.
  • Attend departmental meetings and educational events.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current national certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Minimum of 1 year of acute care training or professional experience in adult inpatient medicine.

Compensation and Benefits

Hiring Salary Range: $99,819.20 – $144,528.01
