Location: Fort Rucker, Alabama
Amentum is seeking a highly qualified Instructor Pilot (TH-1H) to join the Air Force Division at Fort Rucker, Alabama. In partnership with the 23d Flying Training Squadron (FTS), the successful candidate will provide comprehensive instruction in academics, simulation, and flight training for contact, instruments, and remote operations within the TH-1H Huey II platform.
The Instructor Pilot plays a vital role in the foundational training of U.S. Air Force helicopter pilots. Operating within a high-stakes safety environment, the instructor ensures flight students are prepared for complex missions, including combat rescue, special operations, and global strike requirements. This position requires the ability to work effectively within a multi-service partnership involving the Air Force, the Army, and Amentum.
This position is subject to government approval and the terms of a 12-month Employee Training Agreement. Selected candidates must successfully complete mandatory training and a government acceptance checkride. This role offers compensation at $55.85 per hour.
