SkyWest Airlines is seeking qualified pilot candidates for First Officer positions across multiple domiciles in the United States. This role involves assisting the Pilot-in-Command in safely and efficiently conducting flights, ensuring prompt departures, and manipulating flight controls as needed.
About the Role

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flights safely and efficiently.

Support the PIC and passenger service personnel for timely departures.

Manipulate aircraft flight controls, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.

Must be available to work any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements

Minimum age of 21 years.

Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.

Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

U.S. citizen or proof of the right to work in the U.S.

FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Current passport or other travel documents enabling free exit and re-entry to the U.S. with multiple reentry status.

Legally eligible to work in the U.S. with proper working documents.

Must be within three months of meeting minimum hour requirements.

Pilot applicants must meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

SkyWest Airlines accepts helicopter or glider time as part of total flight time, provided the applicant has a minimum of 250 PIC hours in fixed-wing aircraft.
