About the Role
The Executive / Senior Executive Cabin Crew Manpower Planning plays a pivotal role within the SIA Group's Flight Operations Division, specifically within the Integrated Crew Operations & Planning Department. This position is central to the strategic management and optimization of cabin crew resources, ensuring operational efficiency and readiness for a leading global airline. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving data-driven planning methodologies to meet dynamic operational demands and support critical management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically forecasts cabin crew manpower requirements, aligning with the Budget Operating Plan and seasonal selling strategies, by coordinating inputs from Rostering, Training, Service Development, Standards, and Talent Management, utilizing robust data-driven methodologies.
- Develops and implements advanced scenario planning using predictive models to provide critical insights, thereby facilitating informed management decision-making.
- Regularly monitors and reviews the crewing situation and productivity indicators, ensuring optimal resource utilization and proactive adjustments.
- Prepares comprehensive status reports and formulates actionable recommendations for crewing measures and resource optimization.
- Determines precise cabin crew recruitment, promotion, and training targets essential for meeting dynamic operational requirements.
- Manages the strategic planning and allocation of cabin crew annual leave slots to maintain operational continuity.
- Conducts thorough analyses of proposals presented by both the Company and the Union, assessing their potential impact on cabin crew operations and resource allocation.
- Collaborates closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders on the development and rigorous testing of the Manpower Planning System, continuously enhancing forecasting accuracy for cabin crew needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative field is required.
- Candidates should possess demonstrated professional experience, exhibiting strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential for cross-functional collaboration.
