Associate Cabin Crew Control Centre

Singapore Airlines seeks an Associate Cabin Crew Control Centre to manage daily crew rosters, ensure regulatory compliance, and support operational efficiency. This role requires a thorough understanding of Air Navigation Act (ANR) regulations, rostered duty codes, and the Crew Manager (CM) system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and manage daily crew rosters, including adjustments for medical leave and standby activations.
  • Verify and rectify alerts in the Crew Manager system related to ANR, rest periods, operational requirements, and flight recency.
  • Monitor open pairings and ensure all flights depart with adequate crew complements by managing standby resources.
  • Report reasons for any crew shortages on flights.
  • Execute Load Based Variable Manning based on passenger loads and aircraft types.
  • Create flight pairings (COPs) for standby activations and for training purposes outside of standard office hours.
  • Monitor crew complements for VVIP and chartered flights.
  • Book tickets for positioning crew as needed.
  • Submit daily APIS, APP, and CTA to relevant authorities at overseas stations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Resolve operational issues arising from flight delays, diversions, aircraft changes, and cancellations.
  • Ensure adherence to Flight Duty Period (FDP), Flight Time Limitations (FTL), minimum rest rules, and Collective Agreements.
  • Respond to crew requests regarding leave, off-days, and flight recency requirements.
  • Handle crew resignations and deassignments from flight duties and training courses.
  • Adhere to safety and quality processes within the Control Centre, including managing crew step-downs, loss of staff ID, and visa requirements.
  • Assist with the implementation and enhancement of IT systems such as Crew App, Crew Manager (CMX), and Notifications to Crew (CNC).
  • Support the Duty Manager/Duty AO during medical emergencies involving crew members.
  • Assist the Crisis Management team in handling crises as per the Crisis Management Manual.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by management, including operational staff training.

Requirements

  • Diploma in any discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, either from 0800 to 2000 hours or 2000 to 0800 hours.
