Asst Mgr / Snr Executive, Cabin Crew Safety, Security, Quality, and Health
This role is within the Safety, Security, Quality, and Health department of the Cabin Crew Division. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining and enhancing safety standards for cabin crew operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluates causal factors of inflight accidents based on Cabin Crew Accident Reports (CCARs).
- Develops comprehensive investigative reports, proposing appropriate mitigative actions.
- Demonstrates familiarity with the Workplace Injury and Compensation Act (WICA).
- Acts as the key liaison with relevant authorities (e.g., MOM) and insurers regarding WICA applications for cabin crew injuries.
- Analyzes trends in cabin crew inflight work injuries.
- Tracks and monitors progress against Safety Performance Indicator (SPI) targets to ensure goals are achieved.
- Prepares detailed inflight injury statistics and analysis for presentation at divisional and corporate-level meetings.
- Develops and disseminates various communications aimed at improving workplace safety awareness among cabin crew.
- Engages and collaborates with internal business units to address and follow up on matters raised through Hazard Reports.
- Organizes safety campaigns and produces communication materials to promote safety, security, and healthy lifestyle practices for cabin crew.
Requirements:
- Possesses a university degree in any discipline.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exhibits good observational skills, coupled with an investigative and inquisitive mindset.
- Possesses strong written competency, essential for investigation reporting and effective communication with the cabin crew population.
- Good analytical thinking and digital skills are considered an advantage.
