Senior Executive / Executive, Cabin Crew Rostering
A leading aviation organization invites applications for the role of Senior Executive or Executive within its Cabin Crew Rostering Department, an integral part of the Flight Operations Division. The successful incumbent will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and compliant scheduling of a large cabin crew population, contributing directly to operational excellence and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages the comprehensive planning, optimization, and timely publication of monthly cabin crew rosters, leveraging advanced strategies, scenario analysis, rule reviews, and system enhancements (JCR and CM systems).
- Ensures the accurate and compliant publication of over 9,000 cabin crew rosters each month, adhering strictly to regulatory and industrial rules.
- Develops and implements training rosters for both existing crew and new trainees, ensuring operational qualification across various aircraft types and facilitating multi-fleeting for enhanced network support. Critically manages the timely integration of new crew to bolster operational capacity.
- Maintains fairness in flying hours and allowances across a diverse crew cohort, accounting for varying aircraft type qualifications (e.g., A380/B777/B787/A350 vs. B737/B777/B787/A350). Conducts analysis and system adjustments to ensure equitable, accurate, and high-quality rostering.
- Demonstrates agility in responding to dynamic operational changes, including network and aircraft modifications, ensuring all necessary amendments are integrated prior to roster publication.
- Fosters strong communication and collaborative relationships with colleagues in the Cabin Crew Division, union representatives (SIASU), and the cabin crew population to effectively convey rostering information, manage changes, and address crew queries regarding fairness and schedules.
- Supervises and guides a dedicated rostering team comprising 13 staff members, including 3 Senior Associates and 10 Associates.
Requirements
- Possession of a strong academic degree, ideally in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Prior experience in IT project management is highly desirable.
