Senior Executive / Executive, Cabin Crew Rostering
A leading aviation organization is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Executive or Executive to join its critical Cabin Crew Rostering Department within the Flight Operations Division. This pivotal role is central to ensuring the efficient and compliant deployment of cabin crew, directly impacting operational readiness and crew welfare across a dynamic global network. The incumbent will play a key role in optimizing complex rostering processes, contributing significantly to the airline's operational excellence and resilience.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Rostering and Optimization: Manages the end-to-end process of planning, optimizing, and publishing monthly cabin crew rosters. This includes developing robust strategies, conducting scenario analysis, reviewing and adjusting regulatory rules, fine-tuning roster parameters, and enhancing performance within key crew management systems (JCR and CM).

Compliance and Accuracy Management: Oversees the timely and accurate publication of over 9,000 monthly cabin crew rosters, ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory and industrial compliance standards.

Training and Operational Readiness: Plans, supports, and rosters essential training (both regulatory and service) for the existing cabin crew population and new trainees. This ensures that all crew members are operationally qualified across various aircraft types, multi-fleeted for network adaptability, and strategically injected into operations to enhance deployment ease and operational resilience.

Fairness and Equity in Deployment: Implements and maintains fairness in flying hours and allowances across diverse crew cohorts, accounting for varying aircraft fleetings (e.g., some crew trained on A380/B777/B787/A350, others on B737/B777/B787/A350). This involves meticulous analysis and adjustment of system parameters to ensure consistent fairness, accuracy, quality, and timely roster planning.

Agile Operational Response: Demonstrates agility in responding to real-time operational changes, including network and aircraft adjustments, to ensure that all necessary amendments are incorporated prior to roster publication.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Cultivates strong communication channels and collaborative working relationships with colleagues in the Cabin Crew Division, union representatives (SIASU), and the broader cabin crew population. This includes effectively conveying roster-related issues and changes, and promptly addressing crew queries regarding rosters and fairness.

Team Leadership and Development: Provides effective leadership and mentorship to a dedicated rostering team comprising 13 staff members, including 3 Senior Associates and 10 Associates, fostering a high-performance culture.
Requirements

Educational Foundation: Possesses a strong academic background with a relevant degree, preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or Information Technology.
