Global Express Lead Captain/Aviation Resource Manager (ARM)

Role Overview:
The Lead Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, demonstrating exceptional piloting skills and seamless crew collaboration. This individual will also serve as an ARM, acting as a liaison between the aircraft owner and internal Silver Air departments to ensure efficient operations and adherence to the overall management plan.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections and reviews of maintenance status.
- Execute flight operations, including planning, fuel management, and weight and balance calculations, in accordance with Silver Air policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintain complete and accurate trip paperwork.
- Act as a leader and mentor to all assigned team members.
- Understand and implement the aircraft management plan, encompassing owner usage and charter levels.
- Collaborate with the dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance events.
- Ensure the aircraft is properly stocked and prepared for all flights.
- Partner with People and Culture to manage crewing activities.
- Participate in flight crew scheduling and establish a Hard Days Off schedule.
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective resource utilization.
- Provide training and guidance on ARM best practices and procedures.
- Review monthly statements with Accounting and Maintenance Managers.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3,500 total flight hours with 3,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Minimum of 3,000 hours multi-engine time, with 2,000 hours as PIC.
- Preferred 1,750 hours of total turbine time.
- Minimum of 200 hours in type with 100 hours as PIC.
- Type rating on BD700 or comparable aircraft.
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Previous Part 135 experience preferred.
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.1.0 for international commercial air transport operations with multiple pilots.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada.

Team Structure:
Pilots work with consistent teams, consisting of a Lead Captain, Captain, and First Officer for a specific aircraft. A dedicated Flight Management and Support team also provides operational assistance.
