Core Responsibilities of the Cabin Crew
The Cabin Crew professional is primarily responsible for upholding stringent aviation safety standards while ensuring passenger comfort and delivering an exceptional service experience. Key duties include:
- Maintaining the highest standards of passenger safety and comfort throughout all flight sectors, strictly adhering to regulatory and airline procedures.
- Acting as an exemplary Brand Ambassador, working collaboratively within a team to deliver exceptional service infused with Scoot’s vibrant and unique approach.
- Curating enjoyable and seamless travel experiences for passengers by applying comprehensive operational knowledge combined with a proactive "Scootitude" mindset.
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
Scoot seeks highly adaptable, service-oriented professionals who meet the following mandatory criteria:
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years, necessary to comply with Singapore's legal and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum height requirements to effectively execute safety and emergency procedures onboard: 1.58m (female applicants) / 1.65m (male applicants).
- Must be medically fit to successfully perform all duties associated with the role of a Cabin Crew member.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt swiftly and manage diverse situations on board while maintaining strict passenger safety protocols.
- Ability to work diligently on a rostered schedule that includes weekends and public holidays.
Educational Standards
Candidates must possess one of the following minimum educational qualifications:
- Three (3) GCE ‘O’ level subject passes, including a pass in English; OR
- Five (5) GCE ‘N(A)’ / ‘N(T)’ level subject passes, including a pass in English; OR
- Three (3) SPM subject passes, including a Grade C or above in English.
Grooming Policy
In alignment with the airline's professional Grooming Policy, candidates must maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times. Visible tattoos are strictly prohibited for this position.
