The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $87,500 - $118,100, depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is influenced by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, relevant education, training, or a combination of these factors, and market demand.
Position Summary
The Corporate Pilot will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of corporate aircraft to various destinations across North America. This pivotal role requires strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company policies, and an unwavering commitment to safety and exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth, comfortable, and secure flight experience for all passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, encompassing route assessment, comprehensive weather evaluation, precise fuel calculations, and verification of aircraft inspection completion.
- Operate corporate aircraft in strict compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company-specific operational procedures.
- Uphold the highest level of aviation safety by performing routine safety checks and staying continuously informed of current aviation safety standards and best practices.
- Provide outstanding customer service to passengers, proactively addressing their needs and ensuring a comfortable, secure, and discreet flight experience.
- Maintain meticulous flight documentation, including accurate flight logs, detailed maintenance records, and all required compliance reports.
- Ensure the aircraft is consistently appropriately stocked, impeccably clean, and prepared for each flight.
- Facilitate effective and clear communication with air traffic control, ground crew, and internal teams to ensure seamless and coordinated flight operations.
- Collaborate professionally with the Captain, co-pilots, and other crew members to foster a highly professional, efficient, and harmonious flight environment.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land and Instrument Ratings.
- Current First-Class Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours of total flight time, including at least 100 hours of multi-engine flight time.
- Prior experience as a corporate or charter pilot is highly preferred.
- Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally to Canada, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.
- Strong foundational knowledge of aviation safety procedures, regulatory compliance, and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, coupled with a professional and discreet demeanor.
- Flexibility in work hours, including the ability to accommodate weekend and overnight flights, plus extended travel as needed.
- Willingness to travel extensively and be available on-call to meet dynamic company travel requirements.
- Ability to assist with the loading and unloading of passengers’ luggage.
