American Airlines invites dedicated professionals to join its Flight Standards Team within the Flight Training and Standards Division. Position Summary
The Senior Administrator, Pilot Records, is responsible for the analysis and computerized tracking of required pilot training. Reporting to the Manager of the Advanced Qualification Program (AQP), the successful candidate will verify training completion to ensure compliance with American Airlines policy and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), maintaining strict confidentiality of all records. This role requires the ability to perform accurately under pressure, prioritize deadlines, and collaborate with Flight Training and Standards to ensure training meets AQP standards for line pilots and Check Pilots.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain pilot training records in compliance with FARs, American Airlines policy, the Pilot Record Improvement Act (PRIA), and the Pilot Records Database (PRD).

Record, monitor, and process simulator training and checking requirements.

Coordinate with flight department management, scheduling, instructors, and Check Pilots to ensure training records are accurate and complete.

Review training completion reports to verify the accuracy of training programs.

Manage high-volume workloads and meet strict deadlines while maintaining records confidentiality.

Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications

2 years of experience in flight training or scheduling.

Prior experience within an airline training environment.

Familiarity with American Airlines pilot contracts and FAA regulations.

1 year of experience utilizing airline training management software (e.g., Qualtero/FOX, ProDIGIQ, Prodefis, MINT).
