KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Ravn Alaska Flight Attendent Supervisor must have the appropriate knowledge, experience, training and demonstrated ability to lead crewmembers. The Flight Attendant Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the level of proficiency and regard for safety in the day-to-day operation of Company flights and Flight Attendants. Other responsibilities aligned with Ravn Alaska Core Values include but are not limited to:

  • Upholding safety by ensuring all work is accomplished in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs) and the Companies manuals.
  • Demonstrating commitment through adequate environment for Flight Attendents, covering all training documents, attendance and module audit checklist.
  • Acting with integrity by calmly and professionally handling stressful situations that may arise, relying on training techniques and tools to manage each scenario as appropriate.
  • Embodying the spirit of connectedness by participating in company and department initiatives to provide the highest level of training and supervision to crewmembers by seeking out ways to provide a consistently positive working experience while upholding established standards per the FOTP.
  • Showing reliability by reporting any discrepancies with competency checks to the Director of Flight Operations.
  • Promoting commitment by engaging in courteous and respectful interactions with customers, supervisors, co-workers, and business associates..
  • Demonstrate integrity and commitment in conducting various training documentation, including attendance sheets, module audit checklists, ground training certificates, and student exams.
  • Ensure reliability by annually updating PowerPoints, training materials, worksheets, and tests to maintain accuracy and relevancy.
  • Assist with the semimonthly newsletter, promoting connectedness and communication among the flight attendant team.
  • Ensure reliability and organization by checking and ordering to ensure a well-stocked and organized crew-ready room and operations room.
  • Support connectedness by assisting with the distribution of customer comments to individual FAs, promoting accountability and improvement.
  • Attend and provide assistance in monthly FA safety meetings, emphasizing the commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate possess excellent customer service skills and leadership development as well as FA certification for the Company’s aircraft type/group and 2 years of consecutive online duty as a company FA preferred.

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have at least 1 year of supervisor/leadership experience.
  • Must have completion of recurrent training in the last 13 months
  • Must have knowledge of the applicable CFRs and Familiar with the FAM, CSM, GOM, AOM, and FOTP.
  • Must have experience in working with Outlook, Adobe, Web Manuals, and Microsoft Word.
  • Must complete an approved Ground Instructor Qualification Process (FOTP 22.1.10.2)
  • Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
