Role Overview

The Captain, Pilot in Command (PIC) is an accomplished aviation professional entrusted with the ultimate authority and accountability for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft on all assigned flights. This pivotal role requires exemplary leadership, rigorous adherence to aviation safety standards, and meticulous compliance with all regulatory and operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assumes final authority for the complete safety of the aircraft, its crew, and all passengers during all phases of flight operations.
  • Ensures strict and unwavering compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and airworthiness directives.
  • Adheres to, interprets, and enforces all company flight operations manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal policies.
  • Maintains comprehensive situational awareness, exercising sound aeronautical decision-making and judgment under all operational conditions.
  • Leads and manages the flight crew effectively, fostering a disciplined, professional, and safety-centric environment.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5000 total flight hours.
  • At least 2500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
  • A minimum of 2500 multi-engine land flight hours.
  • At least 1500 hours as multi-engine Pilot in Command (PIC).
