Position Overview

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Global 6000 Captain to contribute to its esteemed operation at the KPWK airport in Wheeling, Illinois. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Ensuring the safe and proficient operation of the Global 6000 aircraft.
Conducting flights with utmost safety and prudence, adhering to but not limited to the following procedures:
- Thorough review of the aircraft's maintenance status prior to flight.
- Execution of a comprehensive pre-flight inspection as per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Detailed assessment of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route, including designated alternate airports.
- Guaranteeing all flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Prioritizing and ensuring the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.
- Accurate and timely completion of all required trip documentation in accordance with established procedures.

Required Qualifications

Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

Type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft type.
Possession of a current First Class Medical Certificate.
Availability to work on an on-call basis as required.
Successful completion of annual ICAO International procedures training.
Primary residence located within a 2-hour driving distance of KPWK airport, or a willingness to relocate.

Compensation Range: Based on market conditions, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and assigned account, crewmember compensation typically ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually.
