Job Description and Responsibilities

The Lead Cabin Attendant, reporting to the Assistant Chief Pilot, is instrumental in managing cabin attendant teams. This pivotal role ensures effective cabin crew representation within training, standards, and safety program administration. The incumbent will safely and efficiently operate as a cabin attendant on assigned flights, adhering strictly to all applicable regulations, directives, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill all duties and requirements of a Cabin Attendant on assigned flights.
  • Supervise and guide Cabin Attendants.
  • Operate in a safe and efficient manner, maintaining compliance with all relevant guidelines, policies, manufacturer limitations, governmental regulations, and other jurisdictional requirements.
  • Champion the highest standards of safety and service, encompassing passenger and cabin safety, medical protocols, food safety, and special requests.
  • Develop and enforce policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Cabin Attendants.
  • Monitor cabin and catering expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Establish and maintain confidential crew and passenger profiles, including catering and pre-existing medical conditions.
  • Coordinate, develop, and execute timely cabin crew training, including essential cabin safety equipment and service protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Training Captain to ensure all full-time and contract Cabin Attendant training requirements are met in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual (FOM).
  • Research industry best practices and procedures to enhance Visa Aviation Flight Operations.
  • Manage vendor supplier relationships and conduct necessary vetting.
  • Assist the Assistant Chief Pilot in the selection and staffing of new full-time and contract Cabin Attendant hires.
  • Support Dispatch in the scheduling of full-time and contract Cabin Attendants.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to surpass customer expectations and foster a professional organizational environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage work-related stress, handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Assistant Chief Pilot and/or Pilot in Command (PIC).

Position Requirements:

  • This is an on-site position requiring consistent performance at an assigned Visa office location and a daily commute.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Alternatively, at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Master's, MBA, JD, MD).
  • 0 years of work experience required with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in corporate cabin attending.
  • 7 years of experience as a corporate cabin attendant.
  • 2 years of experience in aviation management, training, safety, or aviation standards programs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods away from home.
  • Compliance with Visa Inc. COVID-19 corporate policy.
  • Maintenance of appropriate inoculations for worldwide travel.
  • 8-10 years of experience as CFR 91/135/121 cabin crew.
  • Previous experience operating on Visa Aviation aircraft.
  • Extensive knowledge and training in aircraft safety procedures and the use of safety equipment, including first aid kits, oxygen equipment, survival gear, TEMPUS, and AED.
  • Comprehensive understanding of meal planning, safe food storage and handling, and catering procurement from international and domestic destinations.
  • Advanced administrative and communication skills pertinent to the role.
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities.

Additional Information:

Work Hours: Varies based on departmental needs.

Travel Requirements: This position necessitates approximately 5-10% travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This role is performed in an office setting and requires the ability to sit and stand at a desk, engage in in-person and telephone communication, and frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $134,500.00 to $195,200.00 USD, potentially including sales incentive payments. Actual salary may vary based on factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
